Meeting scheduled for info on creating neighborhood watch | Community Spirit
Dane County Sheriff’s deputies will be holding an informational meeting Wednesday on how to start a neighborhood watch program, according to a release.
Neighborhood watch is one of the oldest and most effective prevention programs in the country, organizers said. The program is sponsored by the National Sheriff’s Association and brings citizens and law enforcement together to focus on community safety.
The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Bristol Town Hall at 7747 Highway N, according to the release. The meeting will include a question and answer portion for residents.
