Sun Prairie police charged a 22-year-old man with having all the materials necessary to make methamphetamine.

Police said officers were tipped off that Brandon Fletcher of Sun Prairie was making meth inside a home in the 200 block of South Bird Street.

Police said officers contacted Fletcher as he left the home, and they found him with all the meth-making ingredients in his possession. A further search found more material inside his home, according to police.

Fletcher was taken to the Dane County Jail charged with one count of possessing materials for manufacturing methamphetamine.

Sun Prairie police received help in their investigation from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigations and the Dane County Narcotics Task Force.

Police said all materials have been removed from the home and there is no danger to nearby residences.
